CRAFT (UK Comedy Body) actively works 👉 directly and daily 👈 with the UK Government to push for better standards, safer rooms, and sustainable investment into the industry—'Misogyny in Comedy' is but one campaign of much broader policy work.
Huge thanks to all the women who are giving evidence, everyone supporting this campaign, and to Kim Leadbeater MP for meeting with us and championing this campaign. Her support has been instrumental in bringing these issues before the Women and Equalities Select Committee. We also want to thank Samantha Niblett MP and Simon Opher MP for the introduction to Kim and for helping us get this vital conversation into the House of Commons Committees.
It's a tough fortnight of evidence ahead, however we look forward to a safer industry for everyone. 🤜 💫 🤛
